DiverseAbility Teen provides workforce development services to teens with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) in schools.

In class

High school students receive weekly or twice monthly interactive lessons that explore STEM careers while practicing problem solving and customer service skills. Juniors and seniors participate in a job search process in the spring to secure a summer job placement. (Available in Baltimore/Washington / Richmond corridor)

After School STEM Careers’ Club

Optional weekly club for middle school or high school students. Explores STEM careers, encourages entrepreneurship and prepares participants for summer employment. (Available in Baltimore/Washington / Richmond corridor)

Educators’ Professional Development

Part or full day workshops available on the following topics; The importance of paid employment during high school for students with ASD, STEM Careers as a gateway to success for students with ASD and 5 easy ways to incorporate workforce development into your core curriculum lesson plans. (Nationwide)
